UI Improvement	Improvements to Wi-Fi details and some fields are now greyed out when empty. Recently cooked list icon improved. New Entry, WPS connectivity. Cooked list icon now visible, when returning from recipe back to list
Improved launch effects	The start-up sequence of the device has been revised and is now more attractive.
Improvements to Software Updates	Now the Software can be re-downloaded from the server and the update repeated.
Improvements in recipes	Some Minor Errors have been solved
Improvements to the Cook-key	Reset of the cook-key has been revised, resetting the cook-key and reinstalling is now more intuitive.

New menu for setting up the Rotary precision	After the update, a new menu will appear in the settings tab on the device, which offers the opportunity to modify the precision of the rotary button.
Improve Rotary button precision	The precision of the rotary button is improved and assures precise control in the menus.
Optimisation in the Recipe step's view	A recipe from recently cooked can be opened if it is present on the connected device. Regardless of which Cook-Key or recipe chip is connected.

Optimisation of the Thermomix Friend® recipes user-interface on the Thermomix® TM5 device.	Improvements of the User-interfaces while cooking with the Thermomix® TM5 and the Thermomix Friend® Guided-cooking function.
Adding the Smart cooldown feature to the TM5.	A new Smart cooldown timer combined with the recipe cooking-time is being added to the guided and freestyle cooking on the Thermomix® TM5. A smart algorithm will consider the cooking time and temperature used to estimate the appropriate cooling time before the TM5 may be opened. The cooling time may variate between 0, 8, or 20 seconds, which are added to the recipe cooking time.
Improvement of the Synchronisation speed of the device.	The Synchronisation of Cookidoo® recipes on the device is optimised and much quicker.
Further minor improvements.	Further minor improvements of the overall user interface of the device.

As usual, we advise you to always update your Thermomix® to the latest firmware version. The software version 2.10 or 2.9.1 is necessary for the device to handle the improvements for displaying recipes and recipe steps. As older software versions cannot handle these improvements, it is necessary to have at least version 2.9.1 installed on your device. Because of this, starting from the 25.08.2020, it will no longer be possible to synchronise recipes when you have an older software version installed on your TM5. A message on the device will inform you when to start the synchronization required due to the outdated software version.

The Update of TM5 is a second deployment because we realised that something went wrong with the dough mode in guided cooking recipes. With this version the issue is fixed.

Two new modes in the Modes menu

Pre-Clean - Suitable for pre-cleaning after cooking to remove the food rests of the mixing bowl.
Instant Lock - Lock your screen as the device is running. (Addition to the child-lock)

Set a favourite mode

As browsing the TM5 modes you can set a favourite Mode to make it handy for future uses as activating the mode with a long press on the modes button.

After that, by pressing the button for around 1 sec. the favourite mode will be activated.

Here you will find an overview of the changes and innovations offered by the Update 2.7:

• Display Design MODERN
After installing the update 2.7 the new display design MODERN is automatically installed on the Thermomix.
If you prefer the previous design, you can always change it back.

• New Menu Structure
Your recipes are now in the first menu for easy access. Also ''My Week“ and ''Recently Cooked“ is directly available. The naming matches our new Cookidoo platform.

• Notes Button re-integrated
The notes button is now reintegrated in the recipe view, giving you the opportunity to once again display your own recipe notes on your Thermomix. However, please note adding, changing or deleting notes is not possible and recipe notes are not available on the Cookidoo platform.

Display Design MODERN
How to change back to previous design	Go to menu >settings >display colour click on Bright or Dark
Important information for guided cooking	Target temperature and target speed, as well as time, are presented in this way: If the target temperature is changed this is shown by the red target indicator: If the target speed is changed this is shown by the green target indicator: The current temperature is indicated by the darker red ring (and in the numeric display).

• Integration of a timer function within the recipe view. Helpful e. g. for the proofing time of a bread dough.
As a result of the timer button, the recipe notes button is temporarily unavailable, meaning the notes cannot be viewed on the TM5. This will be reintegrated as a button with the next update, version 2.7 (expected availability: March 2019)

• More simplicity in the 'Recipes' menu. Lists are only displayed if they are filled with content.

• Improvement of the reaction speed of the NEXT button within the Guided Cooking.

• Improved filters for recipe search by character.

• Improved synchronisation with Cookidoo.
