Kobold VR300
We are pleased to grant you the solution to the recurring connection issues your VR300 has encountered in the past few days.
We are able to offer you a software update that you can use to perform the required update for your VR300. This software update will correct the issue, make your robot vacuum cleaner fully functional once more, and allow it to access all cloud features again in no time.
This software update will be delivered to you in your Kobold Robot App and MyKobold App.
Please note, that this software update is only available for Kobold VR300 that have not been previously reset, disconnected or removed from your account.
Since you were not able to update your VR300 "over the air", you now have the possibility to perform this necessary update via a USB stick with a suitable adapter, which we will of course send to you free of charge.

What happened: A robot-server communication issue caused a service interruption.
Things not working:
- Users cannot add new robots to their accounts or re-connect their offline robots
- In case users have saved floor plan(s), if robot is started using the app, the robot gives an error tone and doesn’t start cleaning. The following error message appears in the app:”Failed to load floor plan. If the problem persists, please contact customer service.”
- “Remove robot” is disabled to avoid people losing the opportunity to make an OTA update if needed
