We are pleased to grant you the solution to the recurring connection issues your VR300 has encountered in the past few days. This solution addresses VR300 that could not be updated through your Kobold Robot App or MyKobold App because the device was reset, disconnected or removed from your account.
Since you were not able to update your VR300 "over the air", you now have the possibility to perform this necessary update via a USB stick with a suitable adapter, which we will of course send to you free of charge.

Our specialists have identified the issue and developed a solution which was successfully tested. We are therefore rolling out a software update for your Kobold VR300 robot. It may take few days until you receive the update to your app as we are rolling out in badges to make sure everything goes smooth.
This software update will be delivered to you in your Kobold Robot App and MyKobold App.
Please note, that this software update is only available for Kobold VR300 that have not been previously reset, disconnected or removed from your account.

Currently you will receive a system message in our app that your VR200/VR300 is not fully functional.
Due to server problems, your VR200/VR300 can currently only be switched on using the green button and can only vacuum manually for you. Our specialists are working on fixing the cause as soon as possible so that you can use your VR200/VR300 as usual soon.
Please note that your Robot cannot currently call up any no-go lines or floor plans. We apologize very much for the inconvenience.

It is important that we keep all possible solution options open so that they can once again use the full potential of the robot. This includes the possibility of an over-the-air update.
Please do not reset the robot and do not disconnect the connection in the app.
Only robots that are connected to WiFi and one of the cloud systems will receive an update that could solve the problem with an Over-the-Air (OTA) update. It is very important that you do not perform this WiFi reset.
