Thermomix Friend® must be placed on a clean, solid, and even surface so that it cannot slip. Do not place the base unit on the power cord. If you do, Thermomix Friend will not sit evenly on the surface.
We are using a common Bluetooth® standard module in the Thermomix Friend®. Its reach can be compared to the reach of modern Bluetooth®. Thus, walls could interrupt the connectivity. However, we recommend placing Thermomix Friend® in the same room as TM6, since in a connected recipe, bowls need to be transferred from one device to the other, which complicates the process the further both devices are apart from each other.
