Regular cleaning of the floor sensors at the bottom of the VR7 is crucial to ensure
the robot reliably detects drops for save operation.
We recommend cleaning the floor sensors regularly, ideally every time the dust container is emptied.

If the floor sensors are covered or dirty, the device may fall down stairs or landings.
• Before starting the robot, remove easily moveable items, including rugs or runners, as well as lightweight, loose objects from the area in which the robot will be operating. Such objects may be pushed along in front of the robot vacuum cleaner, thereby obstructing its floor sensors.
• Clean the floor sensors regularly (every time the dust container is emptied).
