The Cookidoo® recipe portal is solely owned by the Vorwerk company and is protected with the best methods available.

The Thermomix® is only able to connect to the Cookidoo® recipe portal, which is operated by Vorwerk. It can’t download or run files from third parties. As it’s a secure software system, there’s no need for additional virus protection.

And on top of all that, the connection and the shared data is all SSL encrypted. SSL is one of the most commonly used Internet encryption methods and is also used by your browser, for example.

The Cook-key® doesn’t allow an outside connection. External access is therefore not possible.
