Navigating your Thermomix Friend is easy as you know it from your Thermomix®. The Thermomix Friend does not have a touchscreen as your Thermomix® TM5 or Thermomix® TM6 have, so the navigation works over the selector on the right side of yore Thermomix Friend.
If you are using your Thermomix Friend together with Thermomix® TM6 and the Cookidoo® guided cooking function, the setting from the recipe will be directly transferred from your Thermomix® TM6 to the Thermomix friend over Bluetooth®
If you use the Thermomix Friend in combination with your Thermomix® TM5, you have to enter the recipe settings manually by reading the instructions on the TM5 display.
The cooking settings must be entered consecutively:
Time -> Temperature -> Confirmation of closing the lid -> Speed mode.
To Change one of the settings, you have to start the the process from the beginning until you reach the setting you want to change. Confirming every time that you have close the lid of the Thermomix Friend.
1. Turn the selector to change the time of cooking.
You are able to select time for cooking up to 2 hours.
2. Press the Selector to confirm
Once the cooking is started the time is reverse counted until the step is ended, and you hear the Thermomix Friend finishing sound.
3. Turn the selector to change Temperature value.
The temperature of the Thermomix Friend may be setup in increments of 5 degrees centigrade.
4. Press the Selector to confirm Temperature value.
You may the choice a temperature between 0 degrees centigrade and Varoma.
5. Press the selector to confirm the closing of the lid.
A reminder to place and close the lid properly appears on the display. Do not ignore it and close the lid in that step.
6. Turn the selector to change the speed mode.
You have the may select one of the three speed setups Speed zero - the mixing knives are not going to spin; Speed one – 90 revolutions per minute; Speed two -200 revolutions per minute.
7. Press the selector to confirm the speed setup.
Pressing the selector for the last time will start the cooking process.
