My VC100 cordless vacuum cleaner isn’t working.

Make sure that the cleaner’s battery is charged.

The VC100 should be charged for around 5 hours before you use it for the first time, or if you haven’t used it for a long time.

Also check that the charging process is working correctly and that the contacts on the device and/or the mains charger are clean.

If necessary, clean them with a dry cloth (please disconnect the charger from the mains first!)

Don’t turn the cordless vacuum cleaner on until it is disconnected from the charging unit. The VC100 won’t start if it is connected to the mains charger. You’ll see this, because the device’s green indicator light will flash quickly when you try to switch it on.
