Even if your robot vacuum cleaner seems to be asleep, it is still operating internally. Its microprocessor is still working, the clock is running, and the battery status and contact with the base are being monitored.
If you do not wish for this to occur, you can switch off the robot completely via the Help menu. To do this, the robot vacuum cleaner must be removed from the base.
Please note that older VR100s may need to stay on the base for 2 to 3 minutes after being switched back on in order to check the battery status.
Older VR100s may also forget the time when they are switched off via the Help menu.
