TIPS FOR BRUSH SUCTION
We generally recommend using the ‘auto’ suction setting.
With this setting, the fully automatic motion force control ensures that the device is adjusted to glide smoothly on the particular floor type. The other suction settings are intended for specific types of carpet:
Suction setting |
With normal functioning on these floor types |
soft (50 W) |
- light and loose rugs, mats - silk carpets - fringed carpets - delicate deep pile carpets - deep pile carpets - very thick velor carpets |
auto or med, max |
- hard floors - stairs - sisal flooring |
- Use the max setting for dirty carpeted floors with excessive amounts of fine dust.
- Generally speaking, floor detection should be activated when using the automatic electric brush.
- Use the suction setting indicated in the table.
- If you want to brush-suction a delicate floor even more gently, use the function button to activate the hard floor mode before moving onto the surface in question.
- Whenever you switch the vacuum cleaner on, you will need to reactivate the hard floor mode if you wish to continue using this mode as it is automatically deactivated when the vacuum cleaner is switched off.
- Move the device back and forth smoothly.
