For the Varoma® setting, it’s not a matter of reaching a specific temperature, it’s a special setting where the food is steam-cooked.
When using water, the temperature can’t go any higher than 100°C, so the colour bar will display the actual value.
The 120°C setting, on the other hand, is an actual controlled temperature setting. However, temperatures of over 100°C can only be reached when using oily ingredients.
