Your robot vacuum reports that it has not started from the base There may be several reasons why your VR7 is not docked correctly, please check the following:
If the round brush cover is not properly attached, it may cover the charging contacts. Check that the round brush cover is properly engaged. To do this, look at the front of your Robot Vacuum Cleaner. If there is no gap between the gray front and the edge of the brush cover, it is correctly engaged. If a gap is visible, please reinsert it: After you have placed it on the underside of your VR7, press it in from behind, at the drive wheels. You will hear the latches click into place. You can also find illustrated instructions on how to insert the brush covers in our instruction manual.
Check the power connection of the base station: Remove the connection cable from your base station and plug it in again. You can also test a different socket.
Does the LED under the VR7's house symbol light up white or yellow or does it not react? Please check whether the robot hoover is correctly docked to the base station. We have summarized tips on charging and docking in this video.
Does the LED under the house symbol light up green? Then your VR7 has recognized the base station and is starting the charging process.
