Using the selector like on your Thermomix® for switching On and Off.

Change cooking setting

Navigate using the selector (4) to the right of the display.

Press the selector (4) to confirm the desired value. You will then be taken to the next field automatically.

There is always a black bar (7) underneath the currently selected field.

You cannot go back on the THERMOMIX FRIEND®. When you e.g. want to change a time or temperature you must click the rotary button and go forward, unless you are back on the step you want to change.

You cannot change a setting while cooking process is running like on TM. You must stop the process, go forward to the setting and change.

What happens if I press the button on the TM friend while cooking? Will it stop?

Yes. Like using the TM, you can always stop the cooking process when pressing the rotary button.

What do I have to press, when I want to go back a step on the THERMOMIX FRIEND®?

Since Thermomix Friend® does not have guided cooking, you cannot go back on the THERMOMIX FRIEND®. When you e.g. want to change a setting like time or temperature you must click the rotary button and go forward, unless you are back on the step you want to change.  Still, if you move within guided cooking on your Thermomix® recipe that needs a Thermomix Friend®, your recipe navigation works as usual and you can move back and forward within the recipe as you are used to it. From a Thermomix Friend® step on your TM6, you could also re-send specific cooking values to your Thermomix Friend® if you wish to, which of course only works if your Thermomix Friend® is not running.
